Another script turned into a 20-minute Motivedia mini-movie. This time it was for Errol Spence Jr vs. Tim Tszyu, who clash in Australia on July 26 (or July 25 depending where you are in the world).
A few story lines stick out from this one. The never-ending bid to escape from the Tszyu surname, built by Tim’s father, Kostya. “Daddy’s shadow” as Spence curtly referred to it.
The refused handshake when Spence walked past Tszyu’s outstretched hand which clearly annoyed the Aussie.
And, of course, the state of Spence’s health. He returns three years after a potentially career-ending beating at the fists of Terence Crawford. That came four years after Spence was involved in a car crash that he was lucky to emerge from. It’s a miracle he’s still boxing at all.
How will the fight, in Sydney Olympic Park, play out? Honestly, I’m not even sure. But this unofficial promo has got the blood pumping as usual.
