Shakur Stevenson was suitably impressed with Ryan Garcia’s win on Saturday night. The multi-weight world champion seemed open to a clash between Ryan and himself, but there was one little caveat.
After ‘King Ry’ defeated Devin Haney, he later popped hot. Ryan returned last May following a year-long ban and looked terrible, losing to Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero. His win over Mario Barrios at the weekend was comprehensive and impressive.
While Shakur has little interest in taking Garcia’ss newly-acquired WBC welterweight crown, he is insisting that certain stipulations are met should he fight his rival next.
